Leo M. Rebele, Vice President, Regional Manager, Tetra Tech,, Inc.
Mr. Rebele serves as Environmental Services Manager for the West Region of Tetra Tech, Inc., based in Irvine, California. In his position, Mr. Rebele is responsible for business development, staff management, project execution and profit/loss for his business unit.
Mr. Rebele has worked as a consultant in the U.S. and Canada for over 20 years, advising private and governmental clients in diverse areas including ports and harbors, sediment characterization, natural resource management, and environmental assessment and remediation. His expertise involves working with prospective purchasers, owners, cities, regulatory agencies, and attorneys to minimize liabilities and remediation costs for assessment and remediation of contaminants in soil, groundwater, soil vapor and sediments.
Mr. Rebele is a frequent speaker and author at national and international environmental conferences such as PacifiChem, INEF and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Rebele holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Oceanography from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Sc1ience in Marine Resource Management with a Minor in Aquatic Toxicology from Oregon State University. Mr. Rebele spends his free time hiking, scuba diving and camping and doing chemistry experiments with his 11 year old twins.
